Based on the indicators developed for SAM, we are testing the idea of evaluating and ranking the country’s overall performance in sustainable agriculture.

Overall sustainable agriculture matrix (SAM) score ranking using a simple average method. Higher ranking countries (more sustainable) have lighter values and lower ranking countries (less sustainable) have darker values. The lighter color indicates a higher ranking — a more sustainable agricultural system, and the darker color means lower ranking and poorer performance on sustainable agriculture.
